About

If you always thought this one was part of the National Maritime Museum, we don’t blame you—we thought so too. But Queen’s House is very much its own thing, and what a thing it is.

This 17th-century architectural masterpiece in Greenwich is a total hidden gem, packed with stunning art, royal history, and seriously Instagrammable spiral staircases (hello, Tulip Stairs).

Originally built as a royal retreat, it now houses an impressive collection of maritime-themed paintings, portraits, and sculptures.

It’s elegant, peaceful, and free to visit—perfect for a slow wander before soaking up those epic riverside views outside. If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to fix that.

P.S. Entry is free and does not require booking. But if you want to be sure please book a free ticket via button above.

What we think

The interior design is fascinating, the art is great and the fact that it is in Greenwich makes it event better (after all there are so many free things to do around). Definitely a must visit on our radar.
