About

Lao Café brings the fiery, fragrant flavors of Laos straight to Covent Garden, all thanks to chef Saiphin Moore and an accidental pop-up that became an overnight hit.

Inspired by the street food of Luang Prabang, this buzzing spot is all about bold flavors, communal dining, and a laid-back, urban-chic vibe.

Expect sticky rice galore, char-grilled meats, fragrant curries, and fresh herbs, all served up as and when they’re ready—because in true Laotian style, meals here are made for sharing, not for courses.

Whether you’re diving into a punchy larb salad or dipping into spicy, smoky sauces, every bite is an explosion of flavor. No fuss, no pretension—just seriously good Laotian food.

‘‘I loved their papaya salad!! They can adjust the spiciness level, which worked great for me as I usually struggle with super spicy foods.

Also had the prawn vermicelli noodles and the spicy chicken hot pot, and they were delicious….’’
