About

If youโ€™re after Italian food with a side of pure theatre, Ave Mario is where itโ€™s at.

This bold, vibrant Central London restaurant brings Florentine flair to the city, with Instagram-worthy interiors, neon-lit vibes, and a menu that doesnโ€™t hold back.

Think melt-in-your-mouth truffle pasta, towering gelato sundaes, and their famous giant 60-layer lasagnaโ€”yes, you read that right.

Add in playful cocktails, a buzzing atmosphere, and a cheeky sense of fun, and youโ€™ve got the perfect spot for a boozy brunch, a lively dinner, or just an excuse to indulge in seriously good carbs.

What reviewers rated most: The crab pasta and the starters are applauded a lot. The tiramisu is also a great choice. Most people appreciate the vibes. ( our Meent team thought the pasta was wonderfully cooked, yet it was heavy with cream and cheese ).

โ€œVisited there for the first to celebrate a friend's birthday. The table given to us was a bit small.

Nevertheless, the waiter who served us was very cheerful and helpful. The food quality was not bad and the price was very reasonable. No wonder there was a full house on a Monday evening.โ€™โ€™

What we think

The place has wonderful vibes. Especially if you are seating downstairs , right by the open kitchen, the whole process is just fun to watch.

Pasta though is really heavy ( lots of cream and cheese ) so make sure you either like heavy pasta or go for the lighter versions if you are not a big fan of that ( maybe the crab one? )
