About

Springtime in London is a sight to behold. As winter fades, the city’s parks and gardens burst into colour, filling the air with floral scents and creating perfect spots for a leisurely walk.

Whether you're after dazzling cherry blossoms, carpets of bluebells, or the delicate charm of magnolias, there’s a green space in London ready to impress.

And the best part? Each one comes with its own unique attractions nearby, making a visit more than just about flowers. Isn’t it so?

So what are the top sports to visit for spring bloom in London?

  • Kew Gardens

Why Kew?

Well, there are plenty of reasons! For starters, it's not far from Richmond Park, where you can spot deer roaming freely. Plus, believe it or not, dolphins were spotted in the Thames last year! You can also rent a paddle boat, enjoy a meal by the riverbank, and so much more.

  • Cannizzaro Park (Wimbledon)

Why Cannizzaro?

A bit of a hidden gem, Cannizaro Park is the kind of place where time slows down. Spring brings bursts of colour with its vibrant azaleas and rhododendrons, while delicate camellias and magnolias create an almost dreamlike setting. Plus the Cannizzaro house is a nice spot to stop by for afternoon tea and more.

  • Richmond Park & Isabella Plantation

Why Richmond Park and Isabella Plantation?

Well Isabella Plantation is a spring flower goldmine. There are 40 acres of lawns and glades, streams and ponds at Isabella Plantation all within Richmond Park. Lovely collections of rhododendrons and azaleas which are at their best in late Spring early Summer. Bog gardens with primulas, and in the summer  a good collection of flowering heathers. It is a must visit if you want to score major points with your loved ones, plus it is a winner when it comes to insta worthy pictures.

  • Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens

Why Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens?

Let's not forget the elephant in the room! Hyde Park—arguably the most famous park in London—and its neighbor, Kensington Gardens, are the places to be when the city bursts into bloom. Whether you're strolling beneath cherry blossoms, picnicking by the Serpentine, or simply soaking in the vibrant floral displays, springtime here is nothing short of magical. Plus you are in central London there is always lots to do around ( like boat riding on the lake in Hyde Park )

  • Regent’s Park & Queen Mary’s Gardens

Why Regent’s Park & Queen Mary’s Gardens?

Regent’s Park and Queen Mary’s Gardens are an absolute dream when it comes to blooming season. With over 12,000 roses in full display, it's like stepping into a floral wonderland. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll, snapping the perfect photo, or just soaking in the fragrance of hundreds of varieties, this spot is a must-visit for any nature lover.

  • Notting Hill

Why Notting Hill?

From a casual stroll around the streets Notting Hill and the surrounding area is probably our favourite place to visit in spring. The architecture, coupled with the pink blossom of trees and the smelllll wayaah ! Definitely a worthy visit for a casual stroll!

What we think:

We think that all parks deserve the love and admiration these get! Regardless of their location, each one is worth a trip whether North, South, East or West ! Our personal favourites are Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Regent’s Park. But of course they all deserve 5 out of 5.
