Beanfest is coming to London! Bean fans rejoice, this one is for you. On July 6th, Beanfest is taking over Woolwich Works. As the name gives it away, Beanfest is a festival dedicated to... well, beans! The term "Beanfeast" dates back to July 6, 1773, when King George III arrived at Woolwich by barge and proclaimed an annual holiday after enjoying an open-air feast of beans and bacon. And this modern Beanfest is a unique recreation of that historical event, 251 years later, with a food-filled programme curated by food writer Anna Sulan Masing.
Beanfest 2024 promises a delightful mix of entertainment, food, and activities for all ages. The great part is that there will be many chefs who will talk about food and cooking , so there is something to learn for everybody.

Woolwich Works: Accessible via Woolwich Arsenal or Woolwich Dockyard stations. For most convenient public transport option one can use the Elizabeth line to get to Woolwich Station.
