About

There are parks, and then there’s Kew Gardens—a place that feels more like stepping into a living, breathing fairytale than just another day out in London.

Spread across 300 acres in southwest London, this UNESCO-listed botanical garden is a slow-paced, soul-soothing escape from the chaos of the city.

But don’t let the word “botanical” fool you—this is so much more than just flowers and trees.

Start in the Palm House, a soaring Victorian glasshouse where the air is thick, the leaves are enormous, and the tropical plants feel like they could swallow you whole.

It's like walking into a rainforest, minus the mosquitoes.

Or head over to the Temperate House, the largest surviving Victorian glasshouse in the world, packed with rare and endangered species that are being protected right here, in suburban London.

Then there’s the Treetop Walkway—18 metres up in the air, swaying ever so slightly as you stroll through the canopy, looking out over the gardens and beyond.

You’ll spot parrots, bees, and if you're lucky, that quiet moment where everything just... pauses.

There’s a café when you need it, meadows when you don’t, and more types of tree than you’ll ever be able to name.

And in spring or autumn? It’s genuinely breathtaking. Even if you’re not a ‘plant person’, Kew has a way of softening your pace and pulling you in.

‘‘Lovely place to visit especially if you are a nature lover! So many types of plants, including rare species also extinct ones! Great for families as well!

Definitely an activity for a day, especially on sunny weather! They often have exhibitions as well! Really enjoyed our time there’’

What we think:

We just love it. There’s something about Kew Gardens that feels instantly calming—like the world slows down the moment you step through the gates. It’s not just a beautiful place , it is a place for exploring life and nature.
